Argyle holds onto the open, low-density feel that a lot of Denton County has traded away — rolling acreage, custom homes, and horse property — while sitting right in the path of the area’s biggest new-construction growth. It’s the spot where “room to breathe” and “brand new” overlap.
The lay of the land
Centered near the FM 407 and US-377 crossing, Argyle spreads into larger lots the further you get from the core, with master-planned communities filling in along the edges toward Northlake and Lantana.
What anchors it
Country Lakes and the surrounding acreage, the Argyle ISD footprint, and the booming new-build corridor — including Hillwood’s communities — pushing in from the south and west. Lantana’s town center handles a lot of the daily dining and errands.
