The Gin. Southern comfort food done with pride and live music on weekends. The Cotton Gin Café started here in 2001, when Prosper had about three thousand people — the Pettis family bought it in 2015 and the two have since merged into one.
Roma’s Italian Restaurant. A family Italian kitchen in the heart of Prosper — dough rested and stretched by hand, sauces simmered slow, wood-fired pizza and fresh pasta made to order.
Toasted Walnut Table and Market. Scratch kitchen on Celina’s downtown square, serving since 2019. Wagyu burgers, farm-fresh plates, and a market concept that keeps the whole menu honest. They run cooking lessons too.
Ginger & Spice Vietnamese Kitchen. Ho Chi Minh City flavors on Preston Road — pho, bánh mì, and bubble tea with spice profiles you usually have to drive to Dallas for. Still under the radar, which means now is the time.
Lucy’s on the Square. Homemade pies and chicken fried steak in a hundred-year-old brick building on Celina’s square, down to the wagon wheels and railroad signs. Come early on weekends.
